I Sometime Think I Was Born In the Wrong Era

Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 6,621 People

I so long to live have lived in the

60's/70's/80's and and been a dumb teenager with a summer romance, I adore 'My Mad Fat Diary' I wish I had a group if friends like that. But everyone is a *****, or hates me, I am lonely in this world, I can't wait to grow up and travel it. I am 14. And long for this so bad.

    Maybe not the wrong era

but definitely the wrong decade. I wish I was from the 40's when girls were classy and wore the best outfits. We said things such as "I need to powder my nose" or when asked "how are you" the proper response would be "mutual I'm sure" I wish people were like this today.
