    Twilight Zone

I space out again.  My mind goes blank.  I am sleepy.  Want to run away from all the trivial stuff.

Spaceing Out Is A Curse Yet It Keeps Me Away From Harm

I space out because it has became a part of me. I space out even when people talk to me. It just happens. I block what they say to avoid listening;. For listening just causes me to be involved in some evil and akward plot. I do not wish to listen to the trash talk, the annoying...

    I Love Spacing Out

I always space out when life gets boring. I find that 99% of the time my daydreams are alot more interesting than the task at hand. If I didn't space out I'd go insane with boredom.

Oops... Can You Repeat the Question?

I tend to space out... but more so now than lately. It's a bad side effect of my medication, but the only real side effect. It's worse when I haven't had my coffee for the day! =p I'm not particularly ditsy or anything like that. And in my normal state, I grasp onto every...

Only When I Need to Pay Attention.

I tend to space out in inopportune times.  Like when I'm having a conversation, or someones asking me a question, or driving.  Especially while driving.  Sometime I'm driving and I realize that I don't really remember the last five minutes on the road.  It's...

Sometimes It's Awkward, Sometimes It's Dangerous

A few weeks ago I was zoned out trying to come up with lyrics for my own song while taking a walk. I had a tune stuck in my head and I wanted to make up new lyrics for it. I was so distracted that I didn't realize that while the light wasn't red, there was a green arrow which...

    Too Much

I Space out too much sometimes and I don't do it on purpose. The worst times are when I am driving and performing. Luckily I usually catch myself before I run into anything. When I sing its frustrating! I can't read my music. I come to and finally realize what I am doing. I do it...

And Sometimes Stare Into Unfortunate Places

You ever start staring into space, and then realize that the space you're staring into is the crotch of a man's pants?  It's horribly embarrassing, and no one ever seems to believe me when I tell them that I honestly wasn't checking out his package.  It's tragic...

It Could Be A Blessing If It Weren't Such A Curse...

I'll admit there are times when I just want to escape. We all have those moments sometimes. However, I don't always choose what moments I leave. Spacing out has become the norm for me, but I can't say I fully enjoy it. Sometimes it's regular stuff like spacing out during someone...

Spacing In the Form of Daydreams.....

I don't actually "space out" in terms of becoming completely unaware of my surroundings, etc. (except for occasionally), but what I do do is retreat into my mind on a regular basis. I daydream constantly, no matter where I am or what I'm doing. When things go wrong, or...

    When I Space Out

If I am in class, and we are reading a story. If I find it boring, then I will space out. I can still be listening while I space out too. All sound will cease and I will go into another world of white. Or if I am reading a book intensely....LITTLE noises don't bother me.

I space out a lot. Actually "a lot" would be an

understatement. The way I space out is most likely linked to my epilepsy & how I have frequent absence "seizures". People get the two mixed up with daydreaming, which is completely different!!
