    Always a Planet. Always

I will never not call pluto a planet.  When I have children of my own I will teach them that pluto is a planet.  I mean come on!  It has a moon!  That makes it a planet.  But now that it is not officially a planet teachers can no longer tell their...

It was already the smallest planet out there. Why would you want to take the "planet" title away from it and crush its little ego? Come on now, just leave it alone.

It is so strange when the most acclaimed and approved scientists worldwide first for centuries "believe" - with significant amount of research - in geocentric system, and later - in heliocentric such.... Then again similar people for centuries truly "believe"...

Dwarf Planet Is Still A Planet

Pluto has been a planet sense 1930 and still is a planet, just cause you slap 'dwarf' in front of it doesn't make it stop being a planet. It is and always will be a planet and the second ruler of scorpio, I'll teach this to my children and to their children's children.

You will always be a planet to me, no matter what they say! I grew-up with you being the 9th planet and I love you just the way you are: even if you're apparently too "small". Those are just a bunch of meanies, those people who doubt and refuse to see you as a planet. You're...

I've grown up writing tests, drawig diagrams, even building models with Pluto firmly in the planets of the Solar System. Call me a rebel, call me old-fashioned, but no matter what those scientists say Pluto will always be a planet to me.

    It'S Not Fair.

When my mom told me that Pluto was downgraded to a dwarf planet, I began to yell at her and throw a tantrum for the next three days. I find it unfair that Pluto can no longer be called a planet, and I still get tears eyed when it is brought up.

    True Enough, That.

I do still consider Pluto a planet. As a child, it's what I was taught, and no matter how often they tell me it's a dwarf whateverall, I'll still always consider it what it is: a tiny, cold, hard little planet looping the edges of our solar system.

    Yes

I grew up being told my whole life Pluto is the ninth planet in our solar system. We had to learn and recite all the planets. We had to make models. You can't just unlearn it. Pluto is a little and cold planet.

already, if that doesn't make it a planet, I don't know what will... And I did hear were other "dwarf planets" discovered beyond Pluto that also orbit the sun, but in my view, anything that orbits the sun should be classified as a planet!

    I'm Worse Than This

I consider there to be ten or eleven planets, depending on the day. 2003 UB313 aka Eris should be counted. And half the time I think Charon/Pluto should be considered a dual-planet system instead of a moon-planet system. But it's obvious I'm crazy.

Alas, alas. Alas, poor Pluto. Once a mighty planet, Now just cosmic proscuitto. From dessert to after-dinner mint Thanks to astronomer's judo. Barycentric waltzes unpopular, Eris had more mass than you do; So your proud planetary status Is now simply pseudo.
