    I'm Genetically Defective!

My childhood dentist was a friend of my great uncle.  He informed me that, like my great uncle, I only had three wisdom teeth.  He also told me that I inherited my uncle's having only three lower incisors. The wisdom teeth are still there.  Haven't really...

I Still Have My Wisdom Teeth and It Hurts

I had one wisdom tooth removed on my lower right jaw. That was a scary experience for me because it took an hour for it to be pulled out. I remember crying before it all happened. After a while though, I was getting impatient because it was taking so long. The doctor made the...

So I went to the dentist.

I was told my wisdom teeth are coming in straight but my mouths not wide enough for them so they will still be half under my gum. So I need surgery. My consolation with the surgeon is next Tuesday and the surgery is on the 20th of October. He also gave me antibiotics to help...

    Still In Still Wise

    Still Have Em All

They came in just like the rest of my teeth, only 16 or 18 years later. That delay was fortunate. My family wasn't exactly poor but there was no money for cleaning and such. The only dentists we saw were at the clinic and then only if one of us had a raging toothache. My other...

I think I have some growing in now.

. I can see part of one, and there's a big bump in my gums on the other side. I feel a tooth under it.. I hope I don't have to get these teeth pulled out. That sounds scary :(

    They Keep Growing

I need to see  a professional, I have more teeth than anyone I know! The fun part is when they are cutting through my gums, or causing my gums to do weird skin things... ick. Hopefully my jaw is just big enough to handel it, but my lower teeth are getting a bit crooked...

    And I'm Keeping Them!

I had braces for quite a few years and needed to have a few molars pulled in order to make room for all of the metal. When I got my braces off in 9th grade and saw the dentist, I was told that I have plenty of room for my wisdom teeth and that they were coming in straight so I...

I have a deathly fear of dentists

and orthodontists. However, when I got all 4 Of my wisdom teeth taken out I wasn't really afraid. I just accepted what was happening. I was knocked out and I felt like I woke right back up. Not once during the surgery and after te defeat during the healing state did I feel a bit...

This is ridiculous!! My four wisdom teeth are

still growing in and causing me serious discomfort. I am almost 27 and feel like they should've been out by now. It makes me feel like an infant complaining about teeth growing in. The dentist checked them out and said they were growing in straight.

Mine Have Yet to Break Through

I haven't actually got my full wisdom teeth yet, but I can feel them coming up. It doesn't hurt, but I hear that's it's extremely painful and best to have them removed... which I don't plan to do. Wisdom teeth, does that mean if you keep them you'll get smarter? There's only one...

    Chicken Sh*t

I had an appointment with the oral surgeon but I chickened out. That was about 4 years ago. So now every once in a while a chunk or two of my wisdom teeth falls out of my head. YUCK! But I am too chicken to have them yanked outta my head. Someday I will have to though.

They've certainly not been removed, so I guess they're still there.
