I was all geared up to head north

and spend a day with my Dad and Mom at the nursing home. I was going to take my Dad to his follow-up appointment, take him to lunch, buzz him around to anyplace he wanted to go, except his own home. I spent last night tossing and turning thinking of how difficult this first...

I Need Encouragement. Not The Blame My Cage Should Have.

All throughout life, rejection has to be my main struggle. It's the building blocks of all the other difficulties I face now currently. It's the reason for my anxiety, lack of companions, lack of consideration, lack of caring and lonesomeness. But how fair is it to point the...

I have been rejected a few times.  I think anyone who has been rejected or is being rejected know what the feeling really is.  Do I struggle with rejection?  It is painful as we are not accepted or welcomed but I guess it is something needing to get used to and it'll be okay.

    It's a vicious cycle!

! I get committed to something, get rejected, become overprotective so I won't get hurt and won't try as hard the next time because that would mean I'm getting attached/committed, since I didn't try as hard as I could, I once again get rejected which just makes it worse and worse...

    Fragile. Please Handle With Care.

Rejections in relationships are detrimental to me. Each time I got rejected, I smoked, I binged, I slept more than I should, I got depressed. Unfortunately, I was always the last to leave a relationship. I tried and tried to move on and forgive, doing things that were healthy for...

    I really, really do-whether it's imagined

or otherwise. In fact, the rejections I imagine are probably way worse than when it happens for real. :/

Rejection Is Not So Easy to Deal With

When someone you care about pushes you away or rejects you, it's hard to come around that and not take it in and believe you're fatally flawed. Tonight's rejector is my brother.  Ever since my Dad died in September, my brother has been pushing me away.  I asked to sit...

I been rejected all of my life because of my face. Girls won't give me their number because of my face. Which is why I don't ask for numbers anymore because I already know the girl is not gonna give it to me.

The crux of it all is

that it makes us stronger, more resilient to the storm ahead. We put ourselves at risk of rejection to possibly overcome it. At least, we should, if it's that important to us. So why can't I find myself strong enough to face the crushing blow?

Ever since this girl first walked into our

school for the first time, I couldn't take my eyes off her, and I know I probably wasn't the only one gazing at her beauty. Through my mind I was thinking "you know what, I'm gonna try to talk to her, I need to man up, I need to know how to talk to a girl and here's my first...
