    Over the last 9 months

or so my migraines have gotten a lot worse than before. They're more frequent now. I have them several times a week and sometimes they last for a couple of days. They've become really debilitating. Then I went on vacation and only got 1 relatively mild migraine attack in a month...

My parents told me I used to have them earlier than I touched a soccer ball. If I was talking to someone that doesn't understand what it's like to get a migraine I would try to go into more detail about how I cope etc. Since posting this in a chronic migraine group, we can skip...

    Hallucinations

I have been getting migraines since I was 5, about one every month. I have never met another sufferer and would love to have a support group. I take amitriptyline daily, but still get migraines that interefere with my life. Also, as I reach the peak of my migraine (that...

    I live with migraine headaches

but I have discovered I can control the pain by forgetting I have a headache and keeping occupied. I used to lay in bed but found out it hurts more that way.

    It's Hard Living With Pain.

I started having hemiplegic migraines after hitting the back of my head when I was 15. Half my body would go numb, and my head would feel like someone was icepicking it. Oh, and I'd go partially blind. It used to only happen a few times a year, but they got worse and worse as the...

Every single day. The constant throbbing doesn't go away. All the lights have to be off, and everything turned off, nobody can talk. It only makes my migraine worse. For the past week, I have had A migraine that won't go away. Usually going to the E.R gets rid of the pain. But...

    It's getting bad again.

I've been as fine as one can be for a month or so,I still felt pain almost everyday but it was manageable. It was just bad headaches but I was so used to that kind of pain that I didn't really feel it. It was like background noise: you are aware of it but you concentrate on...

Last wednesday I've learned I have chronic

    There is nothing worse

than feeling pain you cannot control. Even in BDSM, you have the power to stop the sadist from inflicting the pain on you as the masochist. But chronic pain, pain within you, there are no safe words to give you a break; to discuss what is wrong. The pain is never ending...

and on since I was 11 years old. For the past 3 years I have had a migraine almost every day. I have had cat scans done, MRI's, X rays, I see a chiropractor regularly and get massages and it just makes it worse. It's frustrates me that no one can figure out what's wrong.
