I Support The Degenderization Of Clothing

    It's A Sales Ploy

One big reason for "Genderization" (lovely word) of clothing is for clothing manufacturers to make more money. They want to put people into ever smaller groups such that members of one group don't want to wear the clothes of the other groups. Dividing clothing into "inappropriate...

    It Is Only Cloth

It is ridiculous that there is such a huge taboo about men wearing clothes that women have worn for years. Women have no such taboo's If a guy wants to wear silk and satin why is it anyone's business? If a guy wants to put on a dress why should anyone try to stop them?

Gendered Clothing... You Mean Gender Division Don't You

I have been writing about this for some time. I feel that clothes are just clothes and we should choose and wear what we like and feel comfortable in. The truth is, gendered clothing is a form of gender division -- it is something to separate the girls from the boys and force...

I already wear all womens underthings, womens jeans and shoes and boots. Pantyhose when the occasion arises. The only thing that isn't is the shirt or blouse. But I think being able to wear a dress in public without scrutiny would be wonderful.

    Just A Bunch Of Cloth

After all it is just a bunch of cloth. For decades woman fought for the right to wear pants, jeans, shirts, and whatever men were wearing, 100 years ago this was unheard of, now it is common place and seems normal. Men at least most of them just want to be comfortable. Be it in...

Currently sat in a garage shop on a busy UK A

road having my lunch wearing blue denim skirt and tights. Loads of people passing through, the occasional glance, no problems at all. Crossdressing in public is easy. Just saying.

This is exactly what I have been thinking lately.. and I honestly believe if I ever get enough money when I'm older I will start my own clothing shop which doesn't have gender so men and women can shop and only need to worry about size. The clothes would have both feminine and...

Mens Clothing Is Already Degenderized, How About The Rest?

Reading experiences here on EP and thinking of my own experience, I often think, what a double standard is the attitude of society to clothing by gender. About hundred years ago, women wore dresses and men wore trousers. But women started fighting for the right to wear whatever...

    Degender = More Choice

I've always been jealous at what girls could wear. Try to dress 'cute' as a male. Or wear tights to make your legs look better. Or soft or sexy underwear.... In summer, in some companies, women can wear shirts above the knees but a man in short pants is forbidden...

    Among Other Things

I don't see why everything has to be split down gender lines. Other than giving birth (except in the animal kingdom, the males of several species are the ones that give birth) nothing is the sole property of either gender. So why do we always feel the need to divide things by...

Second week of going to work in skirts

and tights. Here is a grey kilt skirt and black tights with grey trainers combination. Sat in on a management level meeting at work today. They had no problem with my choice of dress. No more trousers, ever, hooray!

But Not Boring Versions For Men!

A useful group: I hope many join. I take it that genderization means exclusivity. So female-shaped trousers just makes trousers fit the female hips better.I love wearing skirts and dresses, but I'm not female-shaped so I can't wear just anything I'd like. Sometimes my shoulders...

    Brilliant Story!

I woke this morning to BBC Radio 4 Today (our mainstream formal news programme).A school here doesn't allow shorts for boys in the hot weather. So one 12-year-old boy now wears a skirt to school. And they can't do anything about it. He says he's neither embarrassed nor easily hurt...

I really hope we as a society can get past the

gender lines, and just be who we are and everyone be fine with it, and do our own thing without the need to judge anybody. it is getting much better by leaps and bounds. clothing really is clothing, and a expression of how you feel about yourself. it belongs to the person in...

    Men's Dresses Vs Women's Dresses

Although I support the degenderization of clothing, I suspect that if men wore dresses, they would be different from the dresses women now wear. In the first place, women have a certain...umm..."upper-body endowment" that most men neither have nor want. But many women's fashions...
