    Can't Help It...

I talk to myself more than I talk to my mama, and my mother is my best friend! I have always talked to myself.. all my life. I find that it is self-therapy. I tend to be able to hold pretty good conversations with myself. And I'm not ashamed at all!

Sometimes For Fun, Sometimes to Help Me Think

I don't just talk to myself in the mirror.  In fact 90% of my mirror talking is me just joking around and has no point to it. Most of my actual talking with myself is with writing.  I have full fledged conversations with writing, and sometimes just plain thought. ...

I talk to myself all the time. I even answer myself all the time. Mainly when I'm driving. Kinda scary but not a bad habit that I'm worried about breaking.

    I Always....

Talk to myself. I don't really like talking to other people about how I feel and things like that, so I just talk to myself. It's just as good as talking to another person except I don't get any feedback on what I'm saying. But sometimes I don't want "feedback", especially if...

    Talking to One's Self...

...is not only (in my humble and unsolicited opinion *s*) "normal" (whatever that means), but helpful, therapeutic and practical on several levels. For me it's a way of sorting things out...sifting through an issue...considering options and possibilities. And yes...

I Can Get Very Good Answers

Yes, I talk to myself and always hope no one else sees or hears. Many times it helps me work through a troubling point. Sometimes I'll even answer my own questions. That's good cause the answers are always so good. Yeah, I'm in this club.

Me,Myself and I Have Such Lovely Chats.

It is no longer a secret, I talk to myself. Today while working on something, I was as usual engaging in pleasant conversation with myself about finding my pen, where did I put that journal article, where is that book? Oh the list was endless the amount of topics...

    Talking To Mirrors...

When I'm feeling really blue, I talk to myself in a mirror about the problems I'm having and what I wish I could say to people. Oddly enough, I find it helps. It feels like I'm getting all of my problems out to somebody else instead of just letting the weigh down my mind. It also...

I Am Waiting To Be Officially Crazy

I talk to myself constantly. Be it one word, an observation to myself, or perhaps entire sentences that seep out from the imagined conversations in my head. In the privacy of my own room, when I am alone, it isn't really such a big deal. But due to the excess amount of time...

    Thinking Aloud.

I talk to myself, mainly in my car when I'm alone, to break the silence when I don't have music on yet. Sometimes though, I'll be walking along, people around, and thinking about random things and I'm not sure if I'm saying it aloud too, or if I'm just thinking really loudly...

    I sometimes talk with myself.

And my mum does it too. Back in the day, when my little sister and I were younger, we always found it funny that our mother could be talking with herself while doing the dishes or cleaning the floors. We never thought of it as anything but a funny or quirky side of her. But now...
