    Do It In A Dress

I don't know how many of you are familiar with the "do it in a dress" charity from Australia, http://doitinadress.com/ but October is the month of their annual fund drive. Their aim is to educate girls, specifically in Sierra Leone. The idea is to come up with a "challenge" and...

I've been doing some research on the male polar

opposite of "tomboy" and this is what I've found, thanks to Urban Dictionary: 1) Janegirl A boy who dresses and sometimes behaves the way girls are expected to, often into more feminine things like dolls, dancing, fashion, gymnastics or beauty. Stereotypically wears clothing...

I do agree, I think that all boys,

at least at some stage of their lives, should be allowed to experience how wonderful wearing cloths made for girls could feel. They should be encouraged to wear dresses and skirts, and soft and colorful blouses. I don't like the idea of humiliation, why? I know I know. Because...

I can't say I have a story to share per se,

but I did want to share my thoughts with this group. I've always been bothered with society's "norms", how girls can wear whatever they want, including men's clothing, and while it may possibly hurt their chances of getting a boyfriend based on how our society views attractive...

Had another quote I wanted to share with

everyone, this is from Eddie Izzard. In an interview on The Project (Australia) in 2011, it was stated that he wears women's dresses and this was his response: "No I wear dresses, they're not women's dresses, they're my dresses, I buy them. Like when women wear trousers, they're...

    An 'Ancient' News Item

I remembered a 1999 news item from the BBC, which, when I looked it up, was(surprisingly) still "out there": http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/education/337745.stm. The point of the article was that "Young boys who are allowed to dress up as female characters could become better...

A big help in transforming a boy into a girl is

the testosterone blocker cypreterone acetate. You can google it to find out more. Once the boy has his testosterone reduced he will become more feminine and well behaved.

    Dare To Change A Boy.

I'd of written the experience differently such as I think all boys should be given space to wear skirts and dresses as outside of my own experinces, I feel we place rigid gender patterns on children, no least boys who are told they can't do things cos girls do but when a girl...

Why not?? They are the best clothes

and boys don't wear them because they're embarrassed? I say man up and wear them and love them.

I Love It When My Boyfriend Wears My Clothes

And any "lady" clothes really.. I feel like I have the best of both worlds. Femininity with a huge ****. Hallelujah.

I think at a young age kids shouldn't be raised

to be a gender. Just. Neutral. As kids grow up they can really find themselves and be themselves. There's nothing wrong with boys wearing dresses. I don't understand the big deal. Clothes are clothes.

From my profile: I am a psychologist named

Julie Wilson. My chief interest is teaching boys respect for women. The most effective psychological technique for accomplishing this is called role playing. Role playing consists in putting a person in the role of another so that they will gain insights into what it means to be...

Maybe- But It's Gonna Be Awhile...

Well, I think boys and girls should be able to to just that...wear what you want.   The problem is, that in this day and age, it's not gonna happen.  It's going to take a mass movement of people changing their clothing wearing habits..getting clothing makers to actually make...

    So True.....

.....then I would have enjoyed the sensation far many times more than the 10000 (approx) times I have. I have loved the feel and the enjoyment as much as possible throughout the years. But because I have felt that society to believe that I should not be doing this and should...

Also, there was one thing I heard

once that I liked. Let me know what you think, everyone. A man was once asked why he wears skirts, and this was his reply. "Pants were invented for riding horses, and I don't ride horses."

    Not all boys necessarily ,

but in general, I think boys should be able to wear skirts and dresses and have it be fine. Girls wear pantsuits and they're perceived as powerful. Boys wear a skirt and they're perceived as silly, and not taken seriously. It's great that girls can wear pantsuits! I just wish...

    "Princess Boys"

I have recently noticed a number of news and other items regarding "princess boys." "Princess boys," I love the phrase! In the first place, a princess boy is a boy, usually a younger boy, who wants in on the princess craze for little girls -- whether it be just a Halloween...
