    Never Fails

Somehow it never fails that you have an online population that doesn't take friendship via the internet as serious as they should. In fact you could say that anything via the internet is taken with a grain of sand and it's really kind of sad. Now, I will be the first to...

    One of My Ep Regrets

If I was to start over on EP I would be extremely selective about adding people to my cirle.  My biggest regret here is having way too many people in my circle for me to keep up with.   I just got so curious over the time I've been on here (I think going onto two...

Being A Friend Should Mean Just That

Being a friend shouldn't stop with the surroundings or environment you're in. Being a friend is just that....being a friend. Not sometimes, or when anyone feels like it, but anywhere, anytime, any environment. Being a friend anywhere should mean something. Our society is slowly...

    Being a Ep Friend

I'm kind of tempted to write this story today having read about other peoples experiences of social networking sites and the use of the word "Friend". You see I feel this word "Friend" is being misused on these sites when really it's the number of contacts...

It Does Mean Something To Me

I always try and treat my online friends as if they were my friends in person. They are human beings with real thoughts and emotions, so I want to treat them as if they were actually here.

    But It Doesn't....

    Not Everyone Does.

The vast majority of people in my circle I hardly ever communicate with.  There are some with whom I communicate every day of course but on the whole I don't think that most people take EP friendship very seriously.  Mostly it's just a way to be able to look at...

It Does Mean Something to Me!

I don't take the title of friendship lightly. If I add a person to my circle, it means that I am willing and sure that I will be a great friend to them. I am not a name-collector, by all means. =p Growing up, I had no friends... just bullies. And in my adult-life, no friends...

Yes, It Should Mean You Respect One Another...

I am thinking of deleting my entire circle and letting the folks that truly call me a friend re-add themselves. That's mutual respect in my opinion as my "friend" count is beginning to look like a Myspace amount.

    Instead of my friends blocking

or deleting me, maybe they should stop misjudging me and actually take the time to get to know me. I'm not this bad person that they think I am.

Obviously i'm not the kind of person who measures my worth by the amount of friends i have in a list somewhere. The trivialising of words has always beden a pet peeve of mine. All the friends i have in my list are people who i have talked to and would talk to again. It may not...
