    How else could the know what is acceptable

    behavior and what not? They need boundaries but more important they need to be enforced. Not only for their own safety but also for the safety and comfort of others. That is how society works.

    I see so many children

    where the parents just don't care. Like in the supermarket letting them run through the aisles or touching everything. Using loud voices outside or arguing with their parents. I raise my daughters in a different way
