    Well Hell Yes!!

We (as Dads) haven't stood up to demand more recognition but maybe we should? Without a doubt there are plenty of "deadbeat Dads" around but certainly they are actually more of a minority. In my own experience I know Dads who qualify for either catagory but the "...

Never Thought Dad Was the Bad Guy

I'm 23 now. My parents got divorced when I was 10. Throughout the years, my mom has made it perfectly clear that she doesn't exactly think very highly of my father. When they got divorced, it was because of things he did. When financial problems hit the fan, she did what she...

    Mine Does.

For me, my dad was the best of the two. He wasn't the best dad, but he was better than my mother. I don't remember my father being there for me until I was in middle school; but it was because he was always gone, working. I appreciate my dad so much; he stuck up for me when what...

They Deserve A Lot More Credit!!!

Dads do deserve a lot more credit than they are getting. Sure at times they forget certain stuff, or may not know where this goes, or where that goes...but they toll the line pretty good. And considering they are sometimes the main or only bread winners in the house...

For All the Dads Who Know They Are Funny!

    A Toast to Dads!

Generally fathers are given less credits in upbringing of the child. It is the mother who is always seen at the center of child's world, and every behaviour the child develops is seen as a gift from mother. I think on contrary lines. Just for instance, if it was not for dads who...

    It Takes a Real Man

"Anyone can be a father, but it takes a real man to be a dad." That pretty much says it all.  I think that, in general, dads don't get nearly enough credit for upbringing of their children.  Even the courts are biased towards the mother.  My little...

    Much, Much More!

I work in a pre-school and day nursery and was recently rather appalled to discover that my deputy manager felt that we shouldn't hire men at the nursery.. I pointed out that that was a very sexist viewpoint to have, and said that I felt a male influence would be a valuable...

    2 Fathers

I was blessed growing up because I had a great "daddy."  I realize that looking back, although back in the day, I hated the fact that he wouldn't allow me to do certain things other fathers were apparently allowing. I must admit until recently I thought that being...
