    Naps =)

    Remember when we were younger and hated taking naps? Now as an adult, all I want to do is take a nap.  Man, we were so naive back then. I try to take a nap every chance I get. I use to take naps on my lunch break, but I had to stop - only having an hour to sleep was like a...

    How Can A Nap Work Against Anything?

    A nap is so helpful to especially people who need them. Why would our workplaces ignore this most simple and basic fact? If I were allowed a space to take a 10 minute nap at least once a day, my ability to function would improve, and so would the quality of my work. It would be...

    Man, I have a hard enough time just getting to sleep at night, let alone a mandatory nap time... I personally also dislike the term "mandatory", as it implies I'm being told what to do. Nobody tells me what to do.

    The Rest of the World

    So many other countries give their workers nap breaks.  Some even get the whole afternoon off for a siesta. What about us?!?!  I know that if I was permitted a nap in the afternoon, I would be MUCH more efficient and productive.   However, a 20 minute...

    If I could get a nap in every day, I think life would be a bit easier to deal with, LOL! Why don't we all 'train' ourselves (and our kids!) to nap at appropriate times during the day? Have we all forgotten the simple pleasure that is sprawling on the couch?

    Every Day

    I take about fifteen minutes for a nap almost everyday and have for as long as I can remember. If I need a nap I really can not function very well until I get one. Fifteen minutes or less and I am completely recharged and ready to go. I also only sleep about 6 - 7 hours a night...

    Love A Good Nap!

    Sometimes the very best part of my day involves crawling under the covers at one in the afternoon and taking a glorious nap.  I can only do this on my days off but that just makes me relish it all the more!

    Naps Are Delicious

    I love to sleep.  I feel safest when all snuggled in bed and the three dogs nestled around me.  It's even better if it's raining.  I would take a nap every day if I could.  I think I'll go take one now. haha

    When Did You Last See An Unhappy Italian?

    I totally agree with the Siesta thing. Have been to a number of countries where this is the norm and have seen hardly any unhappy people in any of them! It also gets the office bound out in the sun and fresh air. While I am at it can I also motivate for a 4 day working week? :)

    I Need a Nap Dailey

    I agree, I need to take a small nap every day.  Even just 1/2hr makes me feel so great and rejuvenated.  Sleep is so important for the body, and I don't always sleep well at night(insomnia), so it really helps me.  It helps my body and my mind.

    They Take Daily Naps In Many Other Countries

    I wish we could do it here in the United States! My favorite time to nap though is on a Sunday after lunch when my belly is all full and I know I don't have to be back at work until Tuesday, and all is calm and lazy for a little while. Naps are actually very healthy, and we are...
