I Think Daylight Savings Time Is Stupid

    So-called "Daylight Savings" !

I am so up for getting rid of Daylight Savings Time. The crazy thing is, even the name is a lie. It doesn't save any daylight. The motion and rotation of Earth happens at a certain a rate, and no amount of messing aroung with the clocks is going to change how much daylight you...

    Stupid Stupid Stupid!

It would always screw with me when I would try to set my VCR to record something on those nights the time changed! I would sometimes wish everybody just used sundials! I live in a DST free area now and am much saner.

    I hate daylight savings,

it's so annoying. Once u finally get use to it it changes again. I find it pointless, Arizona doesn't have to do it. Why do we have to??

    Why Do We Do It?

Scientists estimate that sleep lost due to daylight saving time reduces the average lifespan by nearly two full months.

    And Confusing.

I dislike having an hour taken away from me/going back an hour. And also you have to change all your clocks, the worst thing is there are some clocks that are really hard to reset (like the ones in cars and on a heating tank) so they're wrong for half the year. Gah.  ...

It's Not Stupid! It Is Illegal And We're Being Ripped Off (i Think)

The value of time.. But what of the value of light?  Or is there a connection? It's important that i spend the majority of today looking at the past AND cherishing the present.  Both are commodities in my opinion. This never more true than today, the 10th day of March, 2012...

    Daylight savings time is ridiculous.

..who CARES if it is light in the morning when we should all still be sleeping? I'd rather have some daylight available at the end of the day...depressing getting dark at 4:30...and the days will get shorter until the middle of December....

Don't Have To Observe It Where I Live

We don't have DST around here, and have always thought it was rather silly that other parts of the country adjust their clocks twice a year. The only thing that would change for me is the sun would still be up when I am trying to go to sleep.
