I'm not into fishing.  I like watching my husband fish though.  I see him enjoy and have a passion for it.  While he's enjoying himself, I take the chance relaxing at the spot where we are and appreciating the scenary and calmness.

As a kid, in order to give my mother a "break" dad would take us fishing.  Not fishing by standing on a bank, or fly fishing... no he had two kids in a 25ft boat out off the coast catching the daftest fish on the planet...

I like a bit of cod, and can even cook exotic things like fish fingers, but their wrestle and capture, is confined to popping down to Tesco's, rather than fighting the roaring seas to bring home a fresh fish.
