    Maybe Out Of Your Hands?

I am not deeply passionate about Global warming. With that written, I found an interesting article that may be of interest to those here. http://www.nature.com/news/how-carbon-dioxide-melted-the-world-1.10393 That is a Nature news article citing a study investigating the role of...

Sadly, The Term "global Warming" Has Become So Demonized Now...

Sadly, the term "global warming" has become so demonized now. As such, I asked Sandy (this group's founder) to change the title to ""I Think CLIMATE CHANGE Must Be Stopped", as there are other EP groups with the "non-demonized" term of "climate change". There is no way you can...

    Turn About Is Fair Play!

Since some Global Warming Proponents felt the need to post on the I don't believe in global warming group, I felt it was okay to come over here and see if anyone here who can adequately explain this little quandary. If Global Warming is Man-made, why has the temperature on all...

    Blind To The Facts

Please do a little research into history and not follow the media and the Geo-policitical factions who look to profit from the scam. Google the roman warming period or the little ice age, not much a human footprint back then. Then research the different geological periods and...

Of course it must be stopped.

Only a religious freak and right-wing nut would even question the need by this point, which says all there is to say.

    In scientific and public debate,

there is far too much concentration on considering the existence, magnitude and causes of temperature changes. I believe our primary concern must be the huge changes in the relative proportions of all gases and vapours in our atmosphere that have occurred over the last half...

Kepler 22b Discovered Outside Our Solar System

Scientist have just discovered recentley that our carbon foot prints were more evident in the last 50 years than there was in the last 1000 years. Temps have increased by 5% and will compound by 10% in the next 20 years. I feel that continued space exploration is so important...

    Water Rising?

Having lived on the Connecticut coast for over 60 years I can affirm that the level hasn't gone up. I can still stand on the same rocks now at high tide that I did as a child. Land subsides beneath the ocean in many instances and there is nothing special about it- it is a normal...

    Water Rising

8 generations of my wife's family grew up on a large estate on Maryands Eastern Shore. The main home used to be over a mile from the Chesapeake Bay, because of climate change the Bay is now only 200 yards from the back porch.

    Head In The Sand

I love the "head in the sand" comments I hear about climate change. "its natural, we didn't cause it", "it will all be OK, the climate will correct, it always has". "There is nothing we can do about it" - What fools we are to believe we have no effect on our climate. While I...

    I am flying home today.

From an essentially dirty place to the crispness of my homeland, Norway. But pollution is everywhere, and growing. How can we bury rubbish in landfills and not expect global warming? Those dumps give off methane, a greenhouse gas.

2028 CE: Global Warming To Cause A Fourth Period, The Anthropogene Period, To Begin In The Cenozoic Era.

Currently (in 2013 CE), the geological time known as the Cenozoic Era has three periods, the Palaeogene Period, the Neogene Period, and the Quaternary Period. The current period, the Quaternary Period, began about 2,586,000 BCE when year round ice cover became normal in the...

    So Many People In Denial

the scientif evidence seems conclusive to me - but I read that the campaign to suggest that global warning somehow isn't real is funded by US billioniares who often have links to the coal or oil industries. It is depressing though - we had a cold and wet winter and ytou hear...

Increased CO2 in the atmosphere is acidifying

the ocean and soils, killing off bacteria necessary for nitrogen fixation, and the coral that sustains various biodiversity hotspots around the marine world. There's a lot more at stake here than simply the polar ice caps.

    What We Waste

I believe global warming is real and we need to do all we can to reverse our current greenhouse gas emissions. While I can accept that there are those that disagree and say that the variations in temperature and weather are "normal", it is hard to imagine that there is any...
