I Think Good Grammar Is Hot

There really is something to be said for the sexiness of proper grammatical constructions. 3,048 People

When someone has good grammar it just makes my

mental image of them better and more attractive. If you don't use correct grammar, that's cool and all, but my opinion of you will be different if you do otherwise. Juuust putting it out there ;)

    I just had a 10 minute conversation with a

friend about grammar and punctuation. The differences between certain words, when and where to punctuate, and poor spelling. It was an exciting 10 minutes :) Wow, sometimes I forget what a nerd I can be.

Excellent grammar and spelling is always

attractive. It means you aren't sloppy. I'm very forgiving if English is your second language, but if you grew up speaking it, you should try your best to communicate clearly. It is just the polite thing to do.

    I'm not a "grammar Nazi",

I'm a poor speller even though writing is a large part of my job, and I mistype sometimes as I know most people do, but I do have my pet peeves. Missing commas, "then" when it clearly should be "than", "me and her" type things makes me cringe a little. However, I ain't perfect...

When a man can correctly use adjectives

and adverbs, I swoon. There is the typical appreciation of proper usage of "their, they're and there" or "your, you're" or "it's, its" but when a message comes through appropriately using words like "slowly" versus "slow" ... my insides get all hot and bothered.
