It Is A Necessity For Survival

Health care should be guaranteed for everyone because it saves lives and people die without it.  An illness may be minor but become serious without treatment.  People should not be hindered by inability to pay for health care or health insurance.  I know eveyone...

    Healthcare Should Be a Non-issue

I think health care should be a right. Let's face it the health care causes many of the ills of our society. I know many people who work 40 hours a week in a low paying job just to keep their insurance benefits for their family. Of course they work a second job to pay...

Healthcare Should Be a Basic Human Right

No person should have to fear seeking healthcare because they cannot afford it. It is totally unconscionable that people put off seeking care, especially when doing so could cause things to be worse. Healthcare should not be a "for profit" capitalistic enterprise. As...

Good Health Is Not a Privilege

I get so incensed when people spout on and on about "why should I have to help poor people get medical care"? Oh gee, I don't know, because those who can afford health insurance should care that other people are well? No, rather, we are all human....simple freaking...

    The Right to Life

I have no idea why anyone could think that health care is NOT a right.  Why wouldn't something that saves lives, cures diseases, medicates pain, helps children grow, helps deliver babies, keeps unborns and their mothers healthy....NOT be a right?  You cannot tell me...

    Fundamental Disconnect

There arguments against universal health care are becoming familiar. Some keep asserting that getting our government involved is going to make things less efficient and "ruin" our healthcare. This is a kneejerk reaction that comes from many people's deep distrust...

I live in france, and here healthcare is affordable, and you even have help for the poorer, something called the universal cover, you can have all you need for free. Meds are not free, but the social security pays off lots of them. When it's vital, you don't pay. They don't live...

    It is NOT "Obamacare" .

.. It's healthcare reform and it's long overdue! Every American needs to see the movie Sicko!!!!However, I don't agree that you should pay a fee if you don't have health insurance. There needs to be a shift from a profit seeking medical/pharm industry to preventative/ holistic...

I heard this awhile ago and it just stuck with me. (I'm paraphrasing) "It comes down to this. Do you fundamentally believe that the child of a CEO and the child of a mechanic should be given equal medical treatment? Or, does one deserve it more than another because of his...

Every modern, industrialized country except the

U.S. guarantees and provides health care for its citizens. It's a basic right of humanity, not just some "perk" like the plutocrats and the 1% would have us believe.

    I Believe In Emergency Care

Most places can not turn you down if your life is in danger even if you have no money or insurance there not suppose to be able to turn you away if it risks your life which I think should be that way.
