    According To My Mom

I was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome when I was little. My mom recently told me that the day I was diagnosed with Asperger's, I was also diagnosed with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. I can see it in myself. But I can't. I'm so contradicted that it hurts my brain. Sure, I...

So I've never been to the doctor about this,

but I know I have OCD. I used to think I could never tell anyone and I would have to suffer in silence but just over a year ago I managed to tell one of my closest friends. Then a bit after that I managed to tell some more close friends. They all reacted well and are supportive...

How To Tell Someone You Have Ocd, Without Embarrassing Yourself

When I was a child, before I’d ever heard of the term obsessive compulsive disorder, I didn’t know what to make of my thoughts, other than that they were embarrassing and had to be kept secret at all costs. Fortunately today, OCD is well recognized, so most people have heard...

The Textbook Symptoms Of Ocd Are Not The Whole Story

I have a type of OCD which I finally understood to be Obsessive Compulsive Spartanism. For more than thirty years I suffered in embarrassed silence, not sure what was wrong with me. I suspected it was OCD, but my particular symptoms were documented in none of the textbooks on...

    My Ocd

I only have a little.  I constantly tap my fingers , and if one finger touches another, they all have to touch (except for the one that touched first).  And I just generally have an obsessive personality- whenever I find something I like, I do it like crazy.
