    Table manners are things I pick up on on a

    Good manners attract good people,

    It costs nothing to smile

    and say thank you. You risk nothing if you open a door or pull a chair for someone in need. Maybe you will face ridicule or a rude comment but most of us can ignore that and know that we showed respect even if it wasn't returned.
