    No Complaints

When I was a kid I thought that loneliness was a normal condition.  It was a natural state, something that belonged to mankind.  I was just not adapted to it.  I couldn't get used to it.  It caused a lot of pain.   Slowly I started to realize that others...

    It Really Doesn't Matter

Unless someone followed you around your whole life, they could never come close to knowing you, and even then they wouldn't know what you were thinking. It is a good thing though, because we all constantly re-invent ourselves, you forget the bad things, remember the good things...

    Even When I Try

Even when I try to let someone in that far...even when I tell them everything about me, light and dark, fair and not, good and bad...  even once I flay myself open and leave absolutely nothing to the imagination any more... Even then they still get it wrong. And why do...

    Not Really

Especailly here where all you get are words. You can tell a lot about someone by how they write...that is if they are not making stuff up. But online you will never know the person behind the screen. Never know their little quirks and the little things that make them happy or...

I Agree But Is That Really Important?

I agree, "no one will ever know you completely". But really I think to say it like that just sounds too pessimistic. I mean, I don't think the ability to have absolutely everything about you is really the point to life ever. Besides, we all seem to like our secrets. I...

    Bipolar?

I have been diagnosed as bipolar since I was 15 (I am 23 now). I have never felt that anyone truly understands me, even myself. I never know when I wake up, how I'll feel when I go to sleep that same night. I understand the feeling of not being completely known.

A Virtual Impossibility If You Ask Me

The human brain is something like a 1000 times more intricate than even the most complex of computer programs; that being said, how can one ever hope to completely know the deepest, darkest recesses of another person's mind?  there are days when i confound and confuse...

Im a Closed Book (with a Few Open Pages)

no one will ever fully know me, i cant imagine that happening. I would have to put myself in a position of trust and compromise myself to get to that point. I dont think it will ever happen.

    How Could They?

    We Constantly Reinvent Ourselves...

the constant need to be accepted and to matter to someone often creates some changes in a person's life.  while these changes may not be done openly or with intentions to do so, over time,  you realize and find them out about yourself.   the same thing happens...

    No Way

you can get very close to a person of course, and know them very well, but I don't belive anyone will ever know you 100% and you will never know anyone else that 100% either. And sometimes you even do things to surprise yourself! Do you think it's possible that you will never...
