Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 437 People

    Everyone is too sensitive!

The "PC Police" are always getting offended and trying to make us watch what we say! I think it's annoying!

I Can't Keep Up With It...

One minuet somethings acceptable, the next its not, then it is again... At work we are no longer allowed to do a nativity scene as our Christmas play, so as not to leave out or offend people from other religions.... Its ridiculous.

    For Who

What is the purpose of everyone being politically correct all the time?  To keep from hurting someones feelings.  That's about it, too.  So we, as a people, a nation, lose our freedom of speech because speaking American may hurt someones feelings.  Bull-Sh!t...

I Think That People Just Need ...

I think that people just need to live their lives the way that they want to as long as it is morally correct. What is the point in being politically correct. Most of the political thing that I know and understand are a crock anyway.

    Way Too Much

I don't like all that stuff. I don't like how every race is now refered to as (blank)-American, that is so stupid. I don't call myself a german-american, I say I'm just a white guy. Now if people get offended cause I say they are black, white, or whatever than I think that they...

    The Contrast

I actually have the book that is the icon for this group and even it is outdated now that the terms it teaches us are politically neutral are now considered not to be so. I do approve of terms that do not incur stereotypes, racism, sexism, ageism or any other type of...

Sometimes they can be, political correctness sometimes makes big issues out of stuff not meant to be a big issue. Sometimes they're used to mask prejudice or offensive opinion into a polite and seemingly harmless remark.

    You Are a Minority

I don't get it. Why, in our culture, are minorities so coddled? By this I refer to every minority ranging from a minority as small as you--the individual you happen to be uniquely--and as large as the entire group of Jews residing in America. I recently read a news article...

    Absolute Rubbish

Politcal correctness is codified lying predicated on the notion that if you call a pig a swan often enough it will become a swan.  The worst of it is that by patronizing the groups it is intended to help it holds them to a lower standard thereby infantilizing them and...

    I'm Black and I'm Proud!

I find it funny, that many want to call me "African American"... there are some slight problems with that title, though. Technically, my ancestors aren't from Africa. But from the islands.... don't ask me which ones. My mother, aunts, and uncle forgot to ask that detail...

I'm sorry, I know it sounds mean. But seriously, I laugh at people like that. I mean, be a man and just say what's on your mind. You have that thing called common sense, so you should know when you've crossed the line, or not. For example. White People. Stop trying to...

    Pc Nazis

It has come to the point that even a PB&J sandwich can be considered to have racist undertones. No, seriously Google it. It happened in Portland, OR about a month ago. A principle literately had a fit over a teacher using PB&J as a common food item. She now is pushing for the...

    No Such Thing As Multi-culturalism!

In my view, this political correctness is so one sided and people have learnt to play the race card because of it. I saw on the news a while back that a woman who worked for British Airways was asked not to wear her Cross because it could cause offence to other religions...
