I Think Sometimes Silence Is Best Even When You're Right

Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 2,537 People

    I have mastered this art.

It has come to a point that I can still smile. I'm too worn out to point out things and in the end, having it as an argument. Why have that when we can avoid and prevent? People around me always forgets the things I say. It feels like I'm not important enough even to be...

I Am Silent And I Am A Winner!

Most rich people are silent, they kept numb about their wealth... Most genius are silent and just waiting for the result of their inventions.. I commend those who helps without letting anybody know, especially who donates for victims or charities that don't even want to mention...

    Silence is not avoidance,

nor it is a punishment, although some people who are given the treatment think that way. For me, it gives me a chance to silence my own rattled thoughts so I may be able to listen to the still voice of a Higher Power. Some people need to learn this, especially those who are...

    The Secret To Silence

And things fall into place when we take time to sit in silence; to watch quietly the speed at how we live each day.Not hide or shun the world. But only a moment or two..... to recollect oneself..... and realize that we are right even more.

    Really,

I think it is most important to be silent when you are right. They won't appreciate you telling them they are wrong, and when you prove them wrong and show them you are right, they will resent you for it.

The Golden Rule For The Married Man.

This is the first rule we learn right after we say I do. We learn the first rule because the second rule is that it wont make a difference because we wont get the last word in anyway. Be Silent, Live Longer. My Best.

    Silence Is Better

Under all speech that is good for anything three lies a silence that is better. Silence is deep as Eternity; speech is shallow as Time. Silence is the genius of fools and one of the virtues of the wise.

    So I Will Be Quiet

As I look back at my childhood, the thing I remember most about my house was my father speaking in a quiet tone and my mother yelling (a lot). When my mother yelled I always thought my father withdrew...but with my experiences from the last week...I no longer think so. I thinks...

    Mean

The words "I told you so" are usually mean.  I know I was right, you know you were wrong.  We both know I advised you of your unwise choice.  So why should I point this out? It's unpleasant enough to be wrong; hearing "I told you so" does nothing but add insult to...

    Micromanagment

While my immediate manager is awesome, he is a better follower than manager. However, the owner’s husband is over him, and he is an extreme micromanager. We have no chain of command, he comes in at random and disrupts the flow of our daily routine to control the situation. He...

Sometimes, Even If Your Right, Words Can Make Matters Worse.

When people fight, of course they're going to be stubborn with what they think. Depending on their position, most of the time no matter what you say, they're going to go against it and not listen to a single word you say. So, why waste your breath ? If your in a confrontation...
