    Sometimes Sorry Doesn't Fix It

Grab a plate and throw it on the ground -Ok, done. Did it break? -Yes. Now say sorry to it. -Sorry. Did it go back to the way it was before? -No. Do you understand?

Don't Think Sorry Is Easily Said ..

Don't tell me you are sorry 'cause you are not, baby when I know you're only sorry you got caught. [Rihanna - Take a bow] A sorry would probably be enough, it should be, shouldn't it?! But what I discovered in the past years is that people simply don't mean it. To say sorry is...

    Too often people use "sorry"

as a tool to escape dealing with the real consequences of their actions. It is supposed to convey regret and empathy, isn't it?

    Apparently Not

I am so never going to put myself in a position to have to be sorry again. If I do, I will see to it that my apologies mean something this time.

    No Words Are Adequate

I am very sorry for the things I so carelessly said to you last December. During those days, my mind was worn and fatigued from a severe lack of sleep over several days.  At the time, I honestly thought that I was doing something honorable and respectful, but the...

Mum, You took the innocence from me, your own flesh and blood. You allowed me to be strangled. You allowed me to be starved. You allowed me to be drowned. You allowed me to be burned. You allowed me to be molested. What I find saddening, is the fact that you cannot find it in...

He said it about a billion times, but it wasn't enough.  He really hurt me and he needed to know that is wasn't okay for him to freak out and treat me like that.  I was there listening to him when no one would, I supported him when things were bad, or so he told me...

In regards to a letter I want to respond to,

but think it would be better left unaddressed. I think no contact with the author of it would be better for me even though I'm itching to respond. I appreciate the apology. I don't get a lot of those. I believe you sincerely meant everything you wrote. However, I don't think...

    Sorry is just a word.

It has no meaning in it. If your sorry I believe you have to prove it. You can't just say sorry and expect everything to be okay. It makes me feel real bad when I hurt people's feeling. Yea I'll say sorry but I'll do something for them to make it up to them

"I'm sorry" is usually good enough for me most of the time. I don't require much to forgive. If a simple "I'm sorry" doesn't cut it for whatever reason, time probably will. There are occassions though when "I'm sorry" will not cut it. Neither will time. It's not often but...

    Sorry Isn't Enough

Sorry to me is just a word, no more no less. I know I probably take things to the extreme but if criminals were sorry would they be forgiven? Also I struggle with forgivness and think it should be left to a higher power if there is one. I'm not talking about like a friend...

Sorry Can't Be Enough In Some Situations

When someone has wronged you in a major, life-changing way, a simple "I'm sorry" can't be enough to make everything alright. Sometimes it takes more than that. Sometimes there isn't a quick or easy remedy to heal a situation. Sometimes the healing has to come a different way and...

    It Can Not Fix Everything

Sorry just isnt enough to fix some of the hurt or pain that has been put upon you, even when the  person sincerely means it.  I'm the type of person who will do everything in my power to forgive, but will never forget.

I believe action is more important,

because anyone can say sorry, but if they show you they really are guilty, and won't do whatever they did again, then you know that they really do care. Unless, they are brilliant actors... But you can usually tell if someone is sincere.

    Not Enough Sometimes

I truly know how it is when you get abused and someone says, "I'm sorry", but they do it again and again! I say if you are sorry, then don't do it again!

    Sorry is NOT enough, especially

if it is not supported with actions. If you are apologizing for a behavior that continues, the "sorry" is a disingenuous sentiment. Save your insincerity for someone with less intelligence; I can see through your lies.

I'm sorry --- words to express regret, admit guilt and is meant to be said to someone to make them feel better after being hurt. It does not always do that. The tone counts as well as the timing since the offending incident took place. If someone has to say it to get something...
