     for me it is music more than books.even though i can get lost in a good book as well.and it really helps.music seems to be able to take me back to good times.and i need to remember them.

    A Healthy Way

    I don't think there is anything wrong with escaping. In fact I believe it is healthy to relax and get away from it all. But obviously there are good and not so good ways of doing it. I would consider books and music to be a positive way.

    I listen to music obsessivly so I feel I at least have one foot out the door of reality and this life. But.. I can only read when I'm alright, otherwise my thoughts take over.
