I Think the Justice System Is Flawed

My thought is our Founding Father's would be

so disappointed. Our society is extremely eloquent in making laws. Unfortunately, we are also astute at misinterpretation and breaking of such, with varying degrees of punishment.

I don't think the system is flawed at all,

it works exactly the way it was designed to. Take for instance a case from a year ago ended today when an LA highway patrol men mounted and beat an older Black bipolar woman on the side of the road. On video. In front of about a thousand eye witnesses passing by. He was...

I can't believe how many suspended sentences have been handed down in the judicial system lately. I can see how there can be a case for this verdict but tell me how you can you say yes you're guilty of manslaughter but we will give you a 3 year suspended sentence??? A 3 year jail...

    Never Blame Juries

The justice system works again people under 18.

At least in Florida, children being abused or neglected can't runaway from home. Also, it's illegal for someone over 18 to assist or shelter a runaway minor in anyway. It's not illegal for a parents to throw away their child to the streets and if it is, the consequences are so...

In 2000 I noticed that the Virginia State Bar had changed its policies involving how they handled attorney indiscretions.  In 2000 we had just found out that my girlfriend's attorney had deserted their clients, apparently stealing settlements.  Looking up what to do, I...

    Yes, But...

It's true. In certain situations, the justice system is deeply flawed. There are situations were the penalty is not commensurate to the criminal act, or that the termination of the case took too long that the undertaking of judicial procedure seemed futile. However, I believe that...

Once you are in the system there is no way out!

The natural human behavior is to copy people, so how is it going to help someone if all that it is doing is giving them the opportunity to copy negitive behavior that is seen in a jail? Ugh so annoying. If kids could just get help as kids, instead of just going over to juvy or...
