And Another Lonely Trip Next Week

Another sad chapter in my lonely travel for work saga. Away again next week (Port Lincoln). Nice place but again, I long for some company. Even just to have dinner with someone and chat about anything or nothing. The company would be great.... [sighs again.....]

I Used to Travel a Lot

For almost 20 years, I traveled extensively.  It was rare that I spent more than a week at wherever it was that I called home at the time.  I loved going to new places, meeting new people and experiencing what it is like to live in different parts of the world...

the Thrill Is Gone; Creating New Thrills Could Kill Me

When I first started travelling internationally for work 12 years ago, I loved it -- seeing new countries, meeting new people, discovering new things, foods, places -- it was great. I barely touched my hotel rooms except to sleep, always out and about taking advantage of every...

Coming home through a major international

airport today. I have TSA PreCheck so I didn't pack very well...as in my bag was a #hotmess. Obviously it got pulled for a search. Weren't they in for a surprise? All my lacy panties scattered every which way AND a rabbit vibrator AND my glass pleasure wand. Oops.

How Do You All Do It?

I'm getting burned out on this one.   Typically I'd travel a week here, a week there, stay in a hotel room for the week, and be back home for a few weeks before I went out again.   With this current project, I've been away from home since August...(now April...
