Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 50 People

    Never Looked Back!

I first heard about them because my colleague was pregnant and researching cloth nappies. The shop where she bought them also had cloth menstrual pads (Lunapads). I bought a set; they were purple with butterflies on them and I loved them! They lasted me 5 years until they...

    Thinking About Switching To These

Since I can not use tampons due to pain and unpleasant symptoms that comes along with tampon use, I've been using strictly pads for years. The only thing is, they get to become an expense when you have a heavy flow like mine...sometimes heavy bleeding that lasts up to 2 weeks...

    I Love Love Love Them!!!

I think I should get a paid spokes-person job for Lunapads (I bought lunapads, I did not make mine) because I have nothing but good things to say about them!  I feel cleaner, smell less, am much more comfortable, and have less problems than I ever did with plastic pads plus...

    Cloth Pads

I also love these.  I'm giving away a set of 3 pads and 6 liners on my blog.  I'm really disappointed that no woman have jumped on the chance to win these to try them for them self.  Once they got over the initial mind set of having to use disposables...

    I Want To, But...

I am so sick of buying pads and have never been comfortable wearing tampons.  I would love to have a better option.  I don't know about the cup, but have considered it.  I am starting to look at cloth pads, though. I am worried that: I wouldn't feel as...

Environmental Husbandry To Happy Girlie Bits.

Every year, on January first, I make a resolution that I will be able to keep, to help the environment. In 2011, I started carrying my own coffee cup instead of taking paper ones. A few years back, I started unplugging anything that wasn't in use. This year, I'm upcycling or...
