Love You and Going to Tell You So.

It's just my way of telling you you're treasured. Men aren't safe from being called sappy names, either. It's just my thing.

    It's Just How I Am..

    Building Relationships

Depending on the country and culture we happen to be in, words are ways to build relationships. Sometimes an endearing, caring word or two is all that is needed to make your counterpart smile.  And smiles are what we all want!

    Not Condescension

Its just a mannerism of mine to call people things like "love," "doll," "honey," "sweetie," "darling," and "sweetheart." I'm not trying to be condescending or overly familiar...its just a part of how I talk to...

    Yeah...

I use, hon, honey, sweetie, darlin' mostly with everyone...except for people I can't stand, or feel very hurt by. A lot of the time, unless someone asks directly, that's the only way to tell how I feel about someone.

Wish It Still Meant Something Special

I never used to use endearing terms.  One day I met this man who had a new sweet nickname for me on a daily basis and soon I found myself also using endearments. Then it happened.... I heard him call another woman by the same endearment. Now I still use endearing...

I am always calling people cute names. "Love," "baby," "sweetie," "darling," the list goes on. I suppose I use them subconsciously because I like to be called by cute names, too. I blush when people call me "babygirl" or...

    I Keep Calling Everyone Darling!

Having listened to myself lately, "alright, darling?" is something I say often... it's because everyone at work is like it and it's now been ingrained! I call pretty much everyone darling even if they aren't one!
