I started using my phone as an alarm clock after i got a new alarm clock. everything about it is awesome...except
a) it doesnt have a radio setting and
b) when it beeps it is SUPER loud and there's no way to turn the volume down

As it turns out, alarm clocks don't take being repeatedly bashed against a cinder block wall very well. Oh well, that thing was less than reliable anyhow. I've had better luck with using cell phone alarms, so I'll keep using them.

I plan to buy some real watch (Seiko Kinetic) for some time. But somehow it is always postponed.
And I do occasional (now, before it was quite regular) business travel and stays in hotels. I have not found some suitable small alarm...
