I Use My Cell Phone As My Alarm Clock

hey, why not? You're probably attached to your cell phone the entire day..might as well use it to wake up. 4,162 People

My internal biorhythms are usually holiday

maintaining a sleep-wake circadian rhythm. But I've always backed this up with an alarm clock to allow a more relaxed sleep. But I've finally moved into the digital age over the last few years, and no regrets.

When I am at home I typically use the tv

as my alarm clock. But if for some reason I am not home I have a really really obnoxious alarm for my phone.

Like is that a bad thing using your cell phone

as an alarm? It works better to me than using an alarm clock. Actually it comes in handy since I use my cell constantly to text and run the internet

I also use it in my classroom to keep us on schedule. So convenient!

I've become so dependent of my cellphone alarm

that now I use it to let me know when is my next class, appointment or any other thing I've got on my schedule. I put an alarm even for when I need to go groceries shopping.

    I didn't used to, but

now it's easier to set and my day to day live changes each day, so now I have to set 4 different alarms depending on the day. Let's just say this simplified things.

Get a pillowcase with a zipper so you can put the phone in there. Then you have to search for it lol.

It's Partially So I Can Change Up My Alarm Sound.

I find the same sound every day ends up with me turning off the alarm and not remembering I got up. If it's the radio I just let it play or, again, turn it off without remembering. The many uses of a cell phone is wonderful so long as it isn't a ringing at all hours.

There are times when I'm so groggy when I first wake up I dunno what button I'm supposed to hit to turn it off and I fumble with it while it grows louder and louder and annoys me. but most mornings I'm not that bad and I can turn it off within the first few seconds.
