    Not Damaged By Forgetting!

one of the things i love about my crock pot is that when i forget about something cooking in it, the worst that happens is that it gets a little more tender!

    Easy Cooking

I love my crock pot.  I'm not the greatest cook in the world, but everything sure tastes good from a crock pot.

    Added As a Goal

Because I've had the thing over two years and used it about 5 times, which is absurd. I just forget. It's perfect for slow boiling old chickens too tough to roast. After a night in the crockpot they can be made into stew or pie. I've also used it to make goulasch. The problem...

I use my pressure cooker almost daily.

Its the best way to cook whole grains and beans, way faster and way better. The beans are huge and soft when they are done. Stove top or crockpot cooking doesn't compare. And there's making my own stocks in under 2 hrs instead of 12 hrs. It can't be beat. Mind you though, that's...

I received a crock pot from my mother last

Christmas. It is the best thing for any person who does not like to clean up a big mess after cooking. I primarily use my crockpot to make Sweet BBQ meatballs. Just toss in a bag of frozen turkey meatballs, bottle of BBQ sauce and a jar of grape jelly. I turn it on high for 4...

    I Have Some Favorite Recipes

I have begun making my chili (Hubby's FAVORITE) in the crockpot, so I can make enough to freeze for a later date.  It never lasts, though! I love making Lemon 7-Up Turkey Breast as well.  In general, I love to use it!  It makes cooking & cleaning so easy!

This Is Meant to Be a Goal

I bought a 4 qt. crockpot at an estate sale today. Have wanted one for a long time. Can you tell me how to bake breads in one? Would I need a special container?   Cheers!
