    as a childhood rape survivor

and a husband whos gone through the same, i have thankfully been able to work through my pain and regret and tried to help and talk and/or counsel people who need someone that relates. i understand the lasting scars and emotional damage it can do to someone.

    Wisdom....

I think that is one of the greatest things a person can learn. Pain can be a good thing or a terrible thing. On one side, it can destroy us if we let it, but on the other hand it can be something that helps us grow. I think you can look at pain from two different view points...

    Crying ?

Pain and trials are only submitted to us in order to watch how our patience could be tested. If at first proof we begin to cry, no need to explain how the proof is lost. Better to have a bit set-back, a bit meditation and see the proof just as a schoolwork ! Best way to win in...

    Perseverance...

It may seem weird to thankful for pain, but without it I wouldn’t know how to persevere. Without challenge...struggle...loss, I wouldn’t know my own strength. If I was never down on my luck, I would never know how to rise above. It’s during times of adversity when we...

If it were to come instantly,

how would we ever learn? The old lesson. Pain, hardship, and struggle forge growth, strength, and insight. Often only the harshest lessons force us to change when we are locked into a negative situation. Life is beautiful in all it's ups and downs. To be able to appreciate it on...
