    Burnt It Today.

I always kinda liked to keep a diary because I guess I wanted to share my thoughts and feelings with someone, so in that case was my diary. But then after some period I read the stories and hate them. When I keep a diary I barely write about good things, I awlays write down my...

I used to keep a diary,

until a girl took it from my desk and read it out loud to a lot of people. Now, I keep a lot of things that I'd keep in a diary to myself in my head. At least my thoughts can't be infiltrated as easily as a flimsy lock can.

They used to be fun. I would write entries with my sister and we would hide the diaries all over the place. We always fought but when it was diary time we just somehow got along. We wrote one good thing about each other and what we did that day. But now I look back and I can't...

I got bored of it. I thought, what's the point of writing about my life if no one's ever going to read it? And hide it so no one can? So I stopped writing my diary, I kind of regret it now....

I had a diary entry from

when I was 15 or 16 talking about how sad I was and that I wanted to die, but I don't think I meant it. Mum had found it as well, and brought it up "what's this about?" but I told her to ignore it. Another time I had confided in my nan about my feelings and ended up crying into...

I Kept A Diary During My Freshman Year Of High School

Reading what I wrote again just gives me a different perspective of the kind of person I was back then. I also realize just how stupid and naive I was back then, it makes me kind of sad. Although, some things back then still haven't changed. I was as depressed back then as I am...

    I Actually Blog Now. :)

In my life, I've known two great loves. Therefore, it was twice that I've experienced heartbreak. The first was a promise broken among friends. The second was realizing a dying dream. All of these moments I recorded onto paper or a blinking screen. I've been writing...

    An Interesting Perspective

I kept a very detailed diary through my teen years.  Most days I would fill several lined pages with my thoughts and experiences.  I would also clip and add newspaper articles, movie ads, photos of my favorite film stars, etc.   All these years later, I...

    Been a While...

I used to keep track of anything that struck me as interesting in my life a long time ago...well maybe not THAT long ago, but still. I wrote down everything in my diary, my day's events, my thoughts, and wrote down details of my strange dreams. (In fact I think I still have those...

I expect a lot of people do this

and it can be fun, but diaries keep too many secrets, too many dark memories, crushes and bad things that had gone through our head. Recently, I burned the one I had because it reminded me too much of the bad things. I don't know if I should've done that, though. There were some...

But Want To Get Rid Of Them...

As they bring back memories of unhappy times, times filled with pain and hurt. I am hoping that by throwing them away, I am also in a way pyschologically freeing myself. I will always keep my childhood diaries though as they are more amusing to look back on and aren't painful to...

I Am Just Too Scared To Now

I still have my old diaries & I can't even read them. I wince at the **** I used to do & feel proud of. My face burns with embarrassment when I see how pathetic & silly I have been at some points. It's great to see how I've grown & matured, but jeez... I'm terribly ashamed of...

Dear diary, Today I finally admitted to myself

that love is upon me again. I didn't exactly fall into it this time, it was more of a waltzing step with my eyes wide open and focused, yet still, it was a grand surprise. Thank U G-d ;-) I've got smiles for miles. S.
