    Does anyone else get kind of a thrill at

    finding a typo in a published book? It feels like I've found an Easter egg or something. I want to shout, "They totally misspelled this word! What kind of editor misses this?!" to no one in particular.

    The Past Participle Of 'To Lead'

    Even in quality papers and scientific journals, I often see the past participle of 'to lead' written as 'lead'. It should, of course, be 'led'. The other spelling is a dull, grey, malleable metal used on roofs.

    I Just Noticed A Grammatical Error Built Right Into EP.

    At the top of every message page, it says "Between [whomever] and I." It should be 'me,' not 'I.' It's an object, not a subject. I notice things like that all the time, and they drive me crazy.

    Too many people have bad grammar,

    spelling, and punctuation that rarely involves more than a period, if it even has that. I don't try to be perfect but I try to make what I write pleasant to read and understandable and have a style to it.
