    Wow, It's Not Just Me?

I thought I was just being obsessive. I spent so much time learning to do it well that I want to use that knowledge. I guess that is what the beatings in grad school were all about. It actually pains me when I look back at something I've written, sent off and then I spot an error...

I was going to complain about the incoherent

posts I've tried to read. But that would be mean. So, I must assume that their autocorrect is out of control.

but I hate it when others do what I do . I do it accidentally, some people do it cause they want to.

Okay! I admit it that I sometimes have improper

spelling and grammar because English is sometime pretty tricky to master. I had struggled with it. I can't even write a proper essay. Thank god for spell checker online. Without it I can't spell or have proper grammar.

Does anyone else get kind of a thrill at

finding a typo in a published book? It feels like I've found an Easter egg or something. I want to shout, "They totally misspelled this word! What kind of editor misses this?!" to no one in particular.

I think grammar is a great,

although often arbitrary, system of sifting out the intelligent and hardworkers from the lazy and incapable. Even when the same meaning can be conveyed, I think being grammatical just for the sake of being grammatical is a useful way to distinguish yourself. I may be falling...
