The guy I'm seeing now has taken me to a candy shoppe, some huge slides in downtown Omaha, and he frequently takes me to the park. I can swing and slide and have fun. It takes me back to the days when I didn't have to worry about "grown-up" stuff, and it enables me to relax a...

    Sense Of Wonder

I believe in never, ever losing your sense of wonder. It's just too important. To be able to see the mysteries of the world and God's expressions of love, that's what it's all about baby!

    I Do, But...

...I find it hard to really act sometimes like that. Perhaps my inner child is just waiting for something to awaken it, like maybe having children of my own. Then maybe I'll have an excuse to play with Lego once again. ;)

I Try To Appreciate The Beauty In Every Moment.

I like to refer to myself as a really big four year old, not literally, but just that I love being a "big-little kid."  I really enjoy getting excited about things, jumping up and down, making up silly songs...playing!  Using my imagination....I will always...

I Love Kids' Powers Of Observation

Sometimes I'll be fooling around in the backyard or something and the neighbor kids come over. It always amazes me their powers of observation and the things they notice! They'll see things I never do and I just think it's so cool. Also if one little thing is different or out of...

    I Like My Inner Child

It's kind of funny the knots some folk get themselves into but I don't feel any shame in admitting elements of my 'inner girl' are still present and correct in my adult life because we all use the different parts of our experiences in dealing with situations as adults. I use my...

I Value The Ability To Be Childlike

I like being childlike. Although I am a teenager, and about to be an adult, I understand that my childhood qualities still remain. By forgetting about my childhood would be a mistake. A part of me is absolutely adult, and I do adult things, like fixing things and holding a job...

    Childish And Childlike

Not too many people are still childlike when they're adults.  It's those that refused to kill the child within themselves.  Grown-ups have been children once.  And though children want to grow into adults, at one point they see that the adult world is far from...

    I'm My Grandson's Personal Toy

I have the best time playing games with my little Aiden. Floor time. Rolling cars, riding him in a sled or on my back..  "Whee", he says in a tiny baby voice.  Want another ride ?  " Up, up".  Ok, Granny hauls him on board again..  "Whee!".   I...

    Fun ≫ Seriousness

Whatever happened to taking a nap in the middle of a day's commotion? Sometimes all we need is for someone to spoil us like we're children. And to tell us that everything will be alright because they're there. We're all children inside. And we all love it.

    Jumping In Puddles ♥

I'm 14 years old and just a week ago I jumped and danced like a child with my friend Lilian in some puddles after it had rained . The clouds were still dark, the wind was breezy, it smelled fresh & organic and I was having so much fun, I didn't care who saw. I had the most fun...
