And hate it! I'm not a fussy eater.

..I'm pretty adventurous and I love all kinds of cuisine but, octopus....yuck! My mom used to make it but would make a separate meal for my and my brother. Thank God she understood. Another example of good parenting that I appreciate to this day.

The best I've ever had was simply roasted over

a charcoal grill and then dipped in lime with a mixture of salt and pepper. It was to die for. In fact, I'd kill to have that again.

    Burnt Seafood Hut

The husband refers to Greek tavernas as "burnt seafood huts" because they tend to char-grill their seafood, and it can be really delicious. It's flavored with lemon juice, salt, and perhaps some oregano, and comes to the table drizzled with olive oil. We've also had them...

    Baby Octopus

I've eaten baby octopus, marinated in something then cooked on the barbie. Yum. Also I think most people have tried calamari rings whether battered, crumbed or natural. I like them crumbed.

I really don't see why this is an experience on

it's own, it seems pretty standard and normal to me. I love seafood, so naturally, it should come as no surprise that I have had octopus many times, and it's freaking delicious.

The first time was many years ago on a Greek

island. The warm evening breeze and smell of tavernas filling the air. The moonlight dancing on the Mediterranean as it licked the shore. It is amazing how the setting has such an effect on out taste buds. I have had octopus since but nothing has matched that first experience...

    My First Experience With Octopus

Every so often I like to buy some sort of food that I haven't had before.  I learned I've got to at least try a food before I can say whether I dislike it or not. In the grocery store amongst the little cans of sardines and other things, I saw a...

    Another Exotic Food I've Eaten.

When I was in CA I went to a restaurant that had Octopus on the menu. I was curious, so I ordered it. It was good I liked it. It had a chewy texture and tasted like cooked oysters. I'd order it again if I ever see it again on a menu. I've also eaten squid, though that's another...
