    Best City Ever

I went when I was in eighth grade and seeing the city for the first time was jawdropping.Standing in the rain looking thru some binoculars towards the skyline was a great experience. When I actually got into the city it was even more amasing. The hotdog vendors and the watch and...

    Not Yet, But Soon

I get to go next spring, I'm very excited for it. I've never been there before but I have always wanted to go. I have no idea what I'm going to do first.

    I know I wasn't born there.

I know I've never lived there. But I've been there. And it was only two weeks ago I was walking through the busy city streets. I feel homesick for the first time in my life for a place that has never been my home. I could re-live the whole trip and not get tired of it, no matter...

I Lived There In a Past Life.

When I see something about NYC or hear a certain song that reminds me of it, or especially when I visit, I feel like I lived there in the past. I absolutely love that place.  I wanna go back so bad, but don't know when I'll ever get the chance =/  I want to do a...

The city is so awesome. There's so much to do there. There are always people around. You can never really feel alone. They've got a place for everything. An arena for every interest. The culture is so rich and expansive. I love raiding the art shops, seeing advertisements for...

    The Big Apple

i visited during the christmas season, and it was magical...the lights, the tree, the ice skaters, craning my neck to stare up at all those huge skyscrapers that go on forever. i think we all become like kids again no matter how old we are the first time we...

    Spanked With Joy

I've been a couple of times, pre and post 9/11, people like to tell me it's noisy, full of crime, chaotic, intimdating and brash but the energy and the outspoken, opinionated attitude of the city suits my personality, New York polarises opinions but it's my kind of town and i...

    I went there for shopping.

But this time if I go it would to be visit my cousin who lives in NYC. I don't think I would ever be able to live there because its too busy. I'm a suburban or country girl. Either one suits me.

    As Often As I Can

I love New York, and try to get over as often as I can, thankfully I have family there so through them have attained a sufficient knowledge of the best places to eat, directions and the best spots. I love starting off my day in New York with a coffee and cinnamon and raisin...

FAO Schwarz Toy Store In New York

I visited this FAO toy store in New York and it was just brilliant.  Even better was it around Christmas time so all the decorations were out and because of this the atmosphere was fabulous.  I have never seen so many toys in my life, so many different floors with...

Being a New Yorker born in brooklyn I can say

it is the greatest city in the world to live in. It's true about the city hat never sleeps. You can get dressed for a night out on the town at the stroke of midnight and find a party or club someplace where you can dance, listen to live music, take in a show,or get roaring drunk...

I was 18 when I first visited New York.  It was a stop, coming from the continent, on my way to pick tobacco in the fields of Ontario, in Canada.  Our group slept in the YMCA and I remember a night with topless dancers on the tables in a bar. Ten years after I was...

    It's a Hell of a Town...

"Ol' Blue Eyes" was right. I was only there for a little while last Halloween, but I adore the quirkiness. It looks so pretty at night as well. The locals make me laugh and I might consider a second home there (if I ever find a first). This Aussie born woman likes NYC...

    Many Times

I've been to NYC many times - both for work and on my days off.  There is so much to see (Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, the museums) plus the experience of just being there is great.  The subway system can be a bit intimidating, however.

    Fell In Love With Nyc

New York city is by far, the most exciting and fabulous place I have ever visted. Did the full touristy bit, landmarks, East River moonlight dinner cruise, took in a Broadway show and lots of shopping too. Here's a photograph I took of my most favourite skyscraper in the...

Less Than a Day In Times Square

I was staying in atlantic city new jersey for about a month or so. There were these gothic chicks that I befriended that wanted to go to this store in new york. So on our way to the bus station in the cab we had to makeup a name for ourselves just because we were cool like that...

    Mission Trip

A few years back I got to visit the city I most wanted to see in the world: NYC.  I went over the winter break in college with a Christian group on a mission trip.  The trip was planned around the idea of hitting Time's Square for New Years.  It turns out that was...
