    And So Should You

It doesn't matter who you vote for, you should vote. If you are concerned that your vote is irrelevant for the Presidential election, go vote anyway to vote for your state's questions, or for your Senators and Representatives. Don't forget local elections. If you think the...

    Vote this Tuesday even

if it leaves a slight bad taste in your mouth. It helps (either our friends/or the idiots in DC, depending on your perspective) indicate which way the wind is blowing for the majority and what DC should do about it.

I Had To Vote Today For The Council Election

apart from it being illegal not to vote here... I like to vote and I think all countries should make voting arbitrary and legal with penalties if you don't ... it is a civil duty ... I voted for a lady mayor and I hope she gets back in ...  they are not represented by parties...

    My Vote

I know that when I am done writing this story, I will probably get a lot of comments. I will probably get some pretty nasty remarks, and I will see a lot of Zealous individuals attempting to persuade my vote. I wish I could have turned off comments in this story, but I can not.So...

    I Wholeheartedly Supported Barack Obama...

...in his first run for President--because it was long past due that this country was lead by a non-Caucasian Chief Executive, and i truly believed Mr. Obama fully qualified for that position. In this upcoming election for President, i will cast my vote to prove why President...

If I Don't Vote I Don't Think I Have a Right to Complain About the Government

Not that I expect my vote to make a difference, but if everyone that doesn't vote voted it WOULD make a huge difference. Besides, in the Canadian system each party gets some money for their next campaign based on how many individual votes they got.

    A Must Do

I vote because I want a say so in what happens. I feel that if I didn't vote I wouldn't have the right to get upset if things weren't going right as I did nothing to decide on who would be making the choices.

    I Do Vote.

I do vote. The very first time I voted was in the 2004 election. I wish that I had voted in the 2000 election, which is the first election I was old enough to vote in, but both my social anxiety, & my optimism got the best of me, so I didn't. I wanted Al Gore to win that...

    Individuals Matter

I always vote. I also always vote for who I think the best candidate is regardless of what party they belong to. With that said I haven't voted either Democrat nor Republican for the last several elections. Neither one has had a worthy candidate in some time.I also believe that...

I Vote We All Vote As Individuals!

Delegates be cursed!  Every person's vote should count individually!  Our society has become so lazy that it has developed "short cuts" even in voting.  Why can we not have a basic one to one system?  With the technology and supposed education level...

Today we are having general elections in Spain.

Four main parties have chances to win. All of them focus on their differences with the other three, but in things that really matters they all agree. None of them questions our belonging to NATO, to European Union, having euro as our currency. All of them are pro-immigration...

A Side From the Fact In Is Mandatory Here.

People still go in and do the donkey vote. I vote properly because I take politics very seriously. If I want to complain about the current political party or praise them, I might as well have had my say as to if they are in power or not. - RDW

The Moe Factor (as It Is Used In the Selection of Locally Elected Officials)

While almost everyone in the United States of America is currently caught up in the fervor leading up to the Presidential elections, it is in my humble opinion that all of us should be more concerned with the local and state political races. I went into detail in my last blog...

I take my right to vote seriously. I don't ever pass on voting on Election Day. If I don't like either major party candidate, I'll look at what the 3rd party candidates have to offer. Sure, they have a slim or no chance of winning but they are a choice on the ballot. In fact...
