I am not looking for a romance or anything like that, because I am already in a relationship with a very loving man. I just want to be able to talk to a man other than my partner, who can relate to some of my experiences in a relationship. I'm looking for a guy who is mature (30's to 40's) who has had a great deal of relationship experiences and knows what it's like to be in a long term relationship. I want to talk to someone who is wise and sane and has an open mind. (Please, no crazies reply)

It really is frustrating to see that folks are not interested in real dialogue but rather either turn the conversation inward to themselves or tell you what they think you want to hear. Honesty is so important to friendship. Empathy is also. These two qualities seem at odds with each other but to walk the line between them is exactly what I am intent on finding.
