    But A Little Bigger.

Can I come live with you, reader? I don't want to live here anymore. I won't take up much space. You can keep me in the closet under the stairs or in the attic.

    Ive Been In One!

Theres a guy who teaches at a middle school in a county near mine, and i suppose hes a little crazy. He built this large tower made of stone with rainbow stairs and a hot-tub mostly by himself over a few years, and he also built the house that he lives in. its a hobbit house...

    A Warm Hearth

In a way hobbit holes feel so English to me, and, being English I think in another life I would like nothing other than living in a snuggly tunnel with a warm Heath, where I could talk about tales of adventure and joy with my friends :) it's sort of magical really...

    My Utopia

Just think how wonderful it would be to wake up in your cozy Hobbit-bed, open the window-shutters and let the sunshine in, make the fire in the stove and start preparing the first breakfast. Looking out of the window and watching the Hobbit neighborhood waking up slowly in...

Cozy Little Home In the Shire

Yep, that's where I wanna be! No worries and no troubles. Lots of cute hobbits to hang out with. I'm short, so I'm sure I'll be able to fit in ;P If nothing else, I'd just like to have one of these houses built like in my backyard or something. A nice place to escape and play...

    How Cool Would This Be?

Unique, organic, environmentally sensitive, low utility bills. I checked...my local building codes won't allow it. But still...it's awesome!

    Looks Comfortable..

I'd like to live in Bag End. Even the height would be OK for me ;) At night I'd sit by that beautiful fireplace, and during the day I'd be outside playing with hobbit children. And every now and then Gandalf would visit me, and would have an interesting talk with me. And if I...

    Especially In Hobbiton

It would be perfect if the home were in the middle of a true to life fantasy world.  Elves, gnomes, wizards, and the like could visit from time to time, ale would be plentiful, and there would always be an adventure to take on.

    If I Make Money

If I make a good amount of money (probably through writing), I'd love one. Fortunately, I'll already be living in the mountains, so a hilly landscape is easy to come by. I guess I'll have to find a husband who's as geeky as I am. :)

    They're So Cute.

Built into a hillside, with the little circular doors!   My boyfriend looked at me as if I were insane when I told him I wanted a hobbit home.

To Live In a Hobbit House

I think living in a hobbit type home might be very cool to do depending where you lived. As long as there were hills I guess that would make sense.  I would add skylights and solar panels for more warmth. It would have to be warm in winter and cool in summer or perhaps the...
