    I am moving across country

and allowed myself three suitcases worth of stuff and in this process I've learned a lot about myself. Letting go was painful and it made me feel really sad. The key to my childhood home, the book that I've had since I was little, my giant three foot teddy bear, my empty...

So I emptied out my closet finally.

There is nothing but shelves in there. However, I still have a ways to go. I made my dresser slightly lighter but I still have a lot of clothing I don't even wear. All the stuff I must keep is in a medium sized storage container I plan to go through and dump some stuff from...

Twice a year I go through my entire house and rid myself of any belongings I no longer need, want, or enjoy. I used to have a hard time getting rid of things when I was younger, but as I grow older, I realize that "stuff" really does nothing for me. My memories I store in my...

I hate stuff! Life seems heavier

when you come home to stuff everywhere. All I need is a roof, clothing, and food. Art supplies and a phone or at least a library card.

    I grew up with nothing.

All of my stuff were hand me downs until after 10 years, I accumulated a lot of stuff. It's time to live a minimal lifestyle. Any tips that works?

    Halfway There.

I try so hard to be like this!  The decor in my apt is very minimalist and so was my dorm, but there is so much stuff packed into my closet (It's a walk-in, which makes things worse!) and so much stored away at my parents' house!  The problem is, a lot of...

    A table, four chairs.

A sofa. A fireplace. A bookshelf. A cooker and a refrigerator. A bed and a wardrobe. A bathroom. A neutral approach to decor with a surprise to focus. What need you anything else?

I seriously want to downgrade to living out of

a small RV. Sell the houses and cars. I didn't buy a 3,000+ sqft house with the intention of filling every sqft with possessions, but now there's too much stuff for me to relax. Someone please come steal all this crap, so I can restart with a perfect minimalist strategy.

Recently, I have decided to donate some of my

old clothes but then I realized my room was still full of stuff I don't even use. I still have a bunch of books I wouldn't care to read. I have various containers I wouldn't use. I wish I could have two full outfits for each season and that's it. Dresser gone. No more bookcase...

I'm trying to get rid of most of my stuff.

I recently downsized and am now paying $250 a month for a storage unit to keep **** that I probably won't use again. I'm planning on buying a RV and moving into that, which will force me to downsize even more. I think that's a good plan.
