    Still Scared

I am 21 now, and I don't have the fears I think I should. I fear things like money problems and doing well in school, but my controlling fears are more those of a five year old: fear of what's in the dark, fear of waking up and seeing something, fear of something supernatural...

I have fear inside about everything about my life. I'm scared to face my life after being betrayed by many people until now. Fear inside the mind will lead to negative thoughts, in turn more failures may occur. I want courage and be fearless to face this world. Hope God will...

my greatest fear is ending up like a husk.

I've seen it happen to others, they just become detached and they're unable to really...live it seems, they just fold into themselves, maybe that is an inevitability but i dont want the same thing to happen to me. So i desperately cling to that small little flame inside of me...

So, I've decided to start writing in hope

I don't want to let irrational fears control me.

I want to know why my thoughts scare me so much and I want to know why they started. I want to know why I feel so much guilt for having thoughts that I have no control over. I guess this is all part of suffering from OCD.

    What causes the fears

that you and I have? Does it always work to say "just get over it"? I don't think so. I think fears have an emotional attachment, and they need to be matured into... or away from. You can accomplish the getting over your fears by just doing it, and seeing that there really...

During my adolescence I had a crippling fear of

Facing fear isn't a memory of being scared,

it's a moment in your life of being courageous. You are looking something in the eye that you never could before and saying that your not going to let it change what you do with your life. That's why I always feel the need to face my fears, not that I'm super woman, or that I...

    How To Face Your Fears

    1. Instead of burying and avoiding your fears, find the courage to face and examine them. Often fears are rooted in uncertainty and insecurity. If we admit this, we can master them. 2. Try and figure out what is behind the fear. Is it a bad experience from the past – something...

Most of the things we fear never happen.

Or if they do happen, they are rarely as bad as we fear they will be. For most of us, fear is the worst thing that will happen to us. Reality isn’t as painful.

We've all heard this saying. There's nothing to fear but fear itself. But how many of us believe this to be true? What is the purpose in fear? Some of us are afraid to be our true Self. Some of us afraid to fall in love. Some of us afraid to take the next step in our life, even...
