    Behold The Emerald Isles

I'm not sure what it is about Ireland that draws my continual interest... I don't really have Irish in my bloodline... and sure I have deep love of mythology and the celtic mythology holds a facination over me but it goes beyond that. There is something about Ireland that calls...

I've always wanted to go to Ireland, and my husband was thinking about moving there before we got together. So we're planning to go to Ireland for our honeymoon. We married sept 2011, and Ireland will be in 2013, better late then never. Any suggestions for day trips and...

    It's Where My Heart Is.

I have always felt connected to my heritage ever since I was very young. I am half Irish and supposedly half German but I feel so much more connected to my Irish heritage than anything else. I am enthralled by the history of the country. I have a lot of Irish...

    I'f Love to Visit Ireland

If I had a chance to visit anywhere in the world, it would be Ireland. It's beautiful there (based on many pictures I have seen), and I'd love to take a walking tour of the countryside where the castles are. It's frequently rainy there also and that makes it even more...

While there are a lot of places I want to travel to, two top the list.  One of them is Dublin.I've had dreams of walking the streets of Dublin my entire adult life.  The dreams are different in detail, but similar enough.  I'm always walking through familiar streets that smell...

    For the Longest Time

I've wanted to go to Ireland ever since I first knew James Galway from there. Then I watched Michael Collins with Liam Neeson and read many books by Jack Higgins about the deadly Sean Dillon and my love affair with Ireland has only gotten stronger. I love the accent, the hardy...

I would love to go to Dublin,

Ireland. One of my favourite movies is called, "PS. I Iove you" and it is set in Ireland. I'd love to see the mountains in Wicklow. Has anyone been there? I'd love to see St. Anne's Park and the castles. If I go to Dublin, what one thing must I see or do?

I would love to visit Ireland.

It is so gorgeous, it has a rich culture and not to mention the accents are so cool. But I would want to stay for a little while instead of just a few days or a week. I am contemplating looking into to travel abroad or homestay programs

    Family History

My roots (as I have been told) are from there. From the pictures and videos I have seen, this is one place I must plan to visit. (if only i had the cashola!) Ah, perhaps someday. I will make plans. I am in the process of tracing my family history and see what I can come up with.

I met an Irish guy on a trip a few years back.

.. Since then I've associated Ireland with him. Sexy, fun, tipsy, and full of humor. I've felt pulled towards Ireland ever since.

There are so many places I want to see there. Lia Fail, the wishing rock, the burial mounds, basically every site even remotely linked with the mythology of Ireland. I'm just so fascinated by it, and would love to have a real connection to it, and to be able to say that I visited...

I have longed to go to Ireland sense I was a little girl. I am not sure why. I have always imagined it as the most beautiful greenery and the bluest of waters. I also would love to be able to tour at least 1 of their castles. Another reason I would love to go. No snakes or...
