Why do I get so upset?

I just want to be able to voice my point without raising my voice or saying something mean. I feel like my points are valid but my delivery is over the top. Does anyone have this problem and find a way to deal with it in a healthy way?

    Virtual Violence

Generally for me, violent video games are one of my best anger/stress relievers and reducers. If I'm mad I'll sit down in front of the computer and play CounterStrike, and after an hour or so of blowing virtual people into millions of little pixels of blood I am a lot more calm...

    It Depends..

It depends on the degree of anger.  If I'm mildly angry, I'll more than likely write. If anything, I'll just write down everything that is on my mind till that which is ******* me off, dims down. If I am ever so very much frustrated/angry.  I cry.  When I was a...

Anger Is the Ultimate Power For Me...but It Can Be Expensive!

My embarrassment is this: I wasn't 100% sure that I wasn't the person who posted the question and started the group to begin with...I'm still not sure. But even if I did ask it, I want to answer it also... To RELEASE anger is to let the energy of it flow smoothly and without...

    many post things in anger

and regret it afterwards. Some delete it and some don't. its not worth it to post or speak in anger, because words that are spoken can't be deleted again. I have done it . I admit. and with these words I have hurt someone who means the world to me. someone who I love more...

    A Sure Fire Way

I usually b*tch about it with this one friend I trust. She is the one person I know will always pick up the phone when I call to try and vent my anger. But then again, I'm not someone who goes crazy with anger. I've learned that it's best to go to the person you are angry with...

an outlet so now in my dreams all I dream about is beating people to a pulp and occasionally killing them. And now it's running into my real life I just want to start fighting people. So there's that

    Don't Blow Your Top

that's what i try to tell myself. sometimes i just let the anger build and build until i feel like it's going to explode out of my chest. i'm not used to letting it out cause i've spent years as a socially shy girl and lashing out didn't appeal to me. i do listen to loud, angry...

    Letting Go

I either put on some music or a take a long walk. Both calm me down. If it's a person you have to confront, waiting until you have a clear head is usually best.

I like to put on some kind of either very poppy music that you can't help singing along to or music that's really loud and fast and angry.

    My Ways

    1. I self injure 2. Think really nasty thoughts about the person that angered me. 3. Send snarky txts to my friends about the person that has angered me. NOTE: Number 2 & 3 are usually only concerning my friend K Laugh and how much I want to strangle him. Or bad drivers...

    1. Run (outdoors, or in a treadmill if the weather is bad) as far as you can.. 2. Punching bag.. 3. Scream therapy works - if there is no one in a 5 mile radius :) (alternatively type AAAAAHHHHH in bold capitals size 20 font!) 4. And of course EP therapy :)

When I was a child I used to release my anger by cutting up clothes, and wrecking things. When I was a teen I would lock myself in my room and get my rage out by throwing things around or ripping up pictures of the person that I am angry with. Now, I just listen to my music on my...

Mark Twain: Let go of anger: “Anger is an

acid that can do more harm to the vessel in which it is stored than to anything on which it is poured.” Anger is most of the time pretty pointless. It can cause situations to get out of hand. And from a selfish perspective it often more hurtful for the one being angry then...

How do I release my anger? I spend money on adult webcams. It's costly but it works to release the angry guilt that's almost overflowing like lava rushing over a volcano. It's not as bad as cutting, drugs or alcohol but it's still probably not a good way to go about things. I...

    I let myself get angry

and even try to get angry. I'm not angry all the time. And I'm in control enough not to flip out over something stupid. I harness the power of anger, it does not control me. I am not it's vessel for which it can come into being. It is my tool for which I find strength, power...
