I went to piano lessons from Primary School right through High School.  I regret not carrying it on, I was told at the time I would feel like this, but had to sell my piano when I moved out of home. I am now learning the guitar, as it can be stored in a one bedroom...

I Was Last Chair For All of Junior High

I want to know what musical instrument you play.   For 5th and 6th grade I played a cornet that was built in 1908 and in need of repair. The band teacher told my parents that I needed a better instrument if I was going to learn to play. I used to get so mad at myself as...

I can play the xylophone, but not very well anymore.  I always wanted to play the piano or the saxophone.  They seem like very expressive instruments.  So, what about you?

From the ages of 10 to about 29 I played Flugelhorn...in the last couple of years I have moved to play Euphonium. A strange move perhaps - but I enjoy the challenge and I love the Euph sound. I need to practice more than I do - I have a concert in 7 weeks and a competition...

I Would Love to Learn How to Play the Keys But Strings Are More My Thing

I play acoustic and electric guitar, electric bass and my 4 string ukulele. I once knew how to play the flute as well. I also know how to play the drums. I just haven't got any drums myself and I wouldn't know where to put them if I had. There is so little space here in my dorm...

I Used To Play The Viola And I Miss It.

I used to play the viola. I miss it. I wasn't very good, though. I picked to play it because it was the non-popular instrument; different, y'know? I've never been one to go with the crowd. I ran into plenty of people that gave me the "Huh?" look when I would tell them what...

    A Passion For Music

I love music. I really do. As a child, for the most part, all I ever heard was Christian music from time to time because I was forced into and raised into a Christian life-style by my mother for years. Around the age of 8, I went onto my brothers' computer they shared and I...
