    My All-time Favorite

movie is Giant (1955) It stars Rock Hudson, James Dean, and Elizabeth Taylor. It is a long one ( I think 3 hours).  It is the  story of a Texas cattle baron and his family. It spans many years and it's fun to watch Rock, Elizabeth, and James "age".

There is just something about this movie.  It has a special place in my heart, and always will.  It's so tragic;  so what if they're drug addicts?  That's why it's so tragic.  No ship sinks, no one gets murdered, no one commits suicide, whatever; it's...

    Favorite Movie Ever

The Professional! This film is so rich with talent and complexity. The relationship between Leon and Mathilda...he's like a father, but also like a lover. The ambiguity is provocative and perfectly balanced. The irony in that Mathilda is a precocious child wise beyond her years...
