Let Me Think For Half a Second...

New Orleans, LA!  That city speaks to my soul.  I was born in Louisiana and just love the culture down there.  I'd love to live in New Orleans assuming I wouldn't get pummelled by hurricanes every year and have to uproot my entire life.

I Would Live Near the Coast, But Also

near the mountains...so, to me, the places that would qualify for me are Washington state, Oregon, or lol Italy.  Considering I grew up in Montana, Italy seems small.  I could handle having to drive 5 hours to the sea, or to the mountains...and the Alps are the most...

I've been there twice and spent one week there last summer. Let's just say that I didn't want to get on the plane, or even in the taxi to the airport, when I was leaving. During that week I became certain that I want to spend my life in Poland's cultural capital, Krakow. My dream...

    Apparently This Question Has Been

simmering gently in the back of my head for awhile.  I've now got a firm answer.  I would most certainly choose to live in England.  When we visited back in 2005, I absolutely loved it.  I haven't been to every country in the world, but of all of the places I...

Leaving My World Behind For A While

I am farily well traveled, more so than the average person I would suspect, but there is certainly a very long list of places yet for me to get to.  I can imagine that there are many places I haven't been to that i could be very happy living in.  I know this because I am very...

House In the Country & Alternatives

I would live in a New England style house surrounded by mature forest and facing a large lake. The house would be white clapperboard, with a veranda running all of the way round it. Big windows with shutters, open plan inside, large kitchen and a big open fire. Books, plants and...

    I Have Found Home

I started out in Alaska as a child into my teens. A great place to grow up in a vast wilderness of discovery when the cold isn't as harsh on your body. I am evidently part gypsy and have enjoyed visiting and living in several States over the years. We moved to Pompano Beach FL...

I Would Have to Have Homes In Several Places!

Humm!  Very interesting.  If I could live anywhere and money was no object, then I would have several homes.  One in Sedona (go there in the winter).  It is such a spiritual place - that living there would be a spiritual experience non-stop. I would...

    I Can't Decide.....

I would spend six months in Upstate New York, collecting antiques and making preserves and the other six months would be somewhere more adventurous - maybe Turkey, so that my husband could be near his family or maybe Prague, where art and culture are alive and well or St. Barth's...

    On the Beach

my cousin has the best house. she lives with her 2nd husband in cyprus, right in a quiet part, near the border and away from the tourists. They own their own beach. It's where the sand is white and just down the road from the turtle beach. It looks like something out of a movie...

    This Is Easy

It would be somewhere with lots of beautiful nature to view and hike in, preferably in the mountains, a place where there is peace and privacy yet not too distant from civilization, and some place where people are more laid back and friendly. A place where my wife and I...
