    Ya Know, That's Interes...

Ya know, that's interesting you ask that question. Tuesday night was my birthday and I requested one of my favorite drinks. The new bar tender didn't know how to make it, so I guessed. LOL There's a reason I'm not a bartender! Didn't taste anywhere close. Ah well.

    Liquid Heroin

Now, everyone I've talked to since I've came out of military say it's a shot, but in Japan there were bars in the Honch (area right outside of base) that had all kinds of interesting drinks. Liquid Heroin (as they made it in Japan) 1 part Captain Morgan 1 part Malibu Rum (or...

At Least With This One,You Can Drive

I don't know if this qualifies or not, but every time I order it, no one knows what it is. It sounds like it will knock you on your ear, but it can be drunk all night and if you're driving, at least you're stone-cold sober when you go home. It's called a "Horse's Neck" and is...

    Beer Margaritas

My drinks of choice are actually  good sipping whiskeys (or something cheaper with coke) and wine, but this recipe is pretty tasty, super easy, relatively cheap, and awesome for smaller parties.   You'll need: Gold tequila (my favorite is Jose Cuervo) One bottle of...

    Cheers... ?

In my stumblings today I came across a drink recipe in a Salvador Dali write-up. I haven't tried it myself (and might be a little scared to) so it`s not a favourite, but I still wanted to share. >:P ~~~*~~~*~~~   Here is a slightly surreal potable created in honor of...

    Seven and Seven, Please

My family believes in the medicinal powers of whiskey. That said I'm still not there with drinking it straight or on the rocks, but a nice Seagram 7 and 7up (most likely sprite nowadays) hits the spot. I suppose I'll step up to some 13 or 18 yr old stuff in a few years...

    The Dark Knight

We just invented this drink not more than 2 weeks ago: The Dark Knight: 1. Make 1 cup of Instant Espresso (sugar, water, and Instant Espresso). Place in the fridge for 30 minutes to cool off. 2. Pour 1 measure of Kahlua into a Cocktail shaker, followed by...

    Lychee Martini!!

My favorite alcoholic recipe is a Lychee Martini.  It's made with Lichido Liqueur, Orange Stoli Vodka, a squirt of Grapefruit Juice, and some ice.  I garnish with lychee nuts from a can (but it's not necessary).  It is the bomb.

    My Buddy Jack...

Jack and Coke is my favorite way to relax at the end of a long day. In the winter months, hot apple Jack is great too :-) For the hot apple Jack, heat up 6-8 oz. of apple cider. Add a dash of cinnamon (no more than a teaspoon) and a table spoon of brown sugar. Mix well. Pour in...

An Incomplete Compendium of My Favorite Alcoholic Beverages

Here's a short list of alcoholic drinks I have been known to make/drink. Two of these are my own concoctions (or are modifications of existing drinks). I'm no bartender, so the amount of alcohol in each individual drink varies depending on my alcoholic intake, or the beneficiary...
