    Little Red Wagon

I loved my little brother's little red wagon. So useful.  I could haul other toys down the street to friend's houses.  And haul my brother along too, everywhere I went, to keep an eye on him. I could kneel in it, turn the handle around to steer, and propel the...

    I Didn't Have A Favourite Toy.

I had toys, but I think I must not have had a favourite. I had friends, and I loved books. Mostly I played with my friends or read my books. If I had to pick a toy, it would be my trike. Although I didn't really see it as a toy, I did spend a lot of time on it. My cousins all had...

A Bunny That Caught My Emotions...

My favorite childhood toy is a fluffy Bunny with floppy ears so big that it was almost as long as its own body.  It used to be white, but after wiping all my salty tears and accompanying me on various childhood adventures, its white fur grew on off-white tint.  The pink...

My Bicycle(s) And My Easybake Oven....

I got my first bike when I was 6 or 7 -- and I rode it to school almost every day. I grew up on southern Florida and it very seldom got too cold to ride. School was less than a mile away and there was a paved bike path the entire journey. Over the course of my childhood and into...
