My favourite musical number 1 is "Yentl".

It is so impressing! Number 2 is "Sarafina!" It´s impressing, too, but I can´t watch it anytime I want. Some scenarios are really terrible and in the end of the musical you could be almost ashamed to be a White!

    It's Oz, Baby!

Hello my pretties,   Not even close for me. The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz is the pinnacle of a great musical. The drama, the characters, the moral lessons, the cautionary tales, it all blends into one of the most fascinating and terrifying portraits of humanity that I've ever...

The Man Who Fell To Earth

The musical movie I found very entertaining, many people may never have even seen and probably never even heard of.  It was made in the late 60's I think, but I personally didn't see it until in the late '70's.   It is called "The Man Who Fell To Earth"...

Hairspray - I'm talking about the 2007 remake.

I LOVE Hairspray, it's a wonderful musical with a good message about being proud of who you are. Not to mention the allstar cast. Including Christopher Walken, who gets to show off his dance skills. Also, John Travolta is precious as Edna Turnblad - he makes...

    Romance & Cigarettes (2005)

Agree with most of the preceding (Chicago, Oz, most of the timeless classics are in my top 10). The faux modern musicals (Moulon Rouge, Nine, Acroxx the Universe) are largely crap, comparatively.Romance & Cigarettes (I know you've never heard of it) was put together byJohn...

    The Sound Of Music

I think this is my favourite - I would think it pleases me the most and I think I have probably watched this musical more than any other musical, so this must be my favourite.
